Getting up to speed on the internet has been a challenge this week

I tried three different web locations to find where it is best to sell my jewelry. I have never posted things for sale and I am not someone who posts a lot. However, before this week, I did not tweet or instagram but I am learning. After posting on Big Cartel, and Etsy which taught me how to hashtag, another new thing to do. I have taken on the world of creating my own domain and space with the help of a web master great the one and only Trashton Porter. I can honestly say I would not have made it this far in a short time and owe a huge Thank You to this very kind talented soul. For those that don’t know, in addition to his computer excellence, he is a musician and has many great songs posted on YouTube so check him out.

I will try to explain about making jewelry in my blogs. Today I made this necklace inspired by my robins eggs on my front porch.

I started with one stone the ocean blue Jasper, and I looked thru all my stones and findings for things of the same color or that I think combine and lay them out on my table. I put different combinations together until I find a grouping or pattern I think works together. I created the necklace and I decided on the length how much chain is needed and what clasp and we have a finished product to photograph, catalog, post, and then sell.
