Inspirations from Mallorca

I love to travel as much as I enjoy making unique pieces of jewelry. I took a short trip across the Mediterranean Sea to Mallorca, Spain and fell in love with this island that has a culture that has survived several attacks, pirates and a few occupations and dates back several centuries before Christ.

La Palma is the capital and a port city on the western coast. The view from Bellvere castle and was a one of five castle and many towers built for the vantage point to warn villagers of attacks and served as a prison on a few occasions.

I always dreamed of coming to Mallorca to see the famous pearls and I was not disappointed and viewed historical cites, caves, beaches, and traversed the country side.

I did come before tourist season was in full swing and not all sites were open, limited establishments serving food, the weather was sunny and warm, the beaches pristine.

I highly recommend traveling here and found this a place I would return to.
